Change-project route

Verify Capacity, Site and Filing Requirements

Connect proposed occupancy or flow changes, system evidence, site and water constraints, qualified roles, filings, construction and maintenance records.

Decision file

Build a clearer project record

01

Define the proposed change

Record bedrooms or occupancy, fixture or use changes, additions, suites, business use, repair concern or replacement goal without estimating capacity yourself.

02

Reconcile the existing record

Compare plans and filings to known site components and service history. List discrepancies for qualified review.

03

Keep capacity and design qualified

Existing or proposed capacity, treatment, dispersal and suitability require project-specific assessment and authorized design decisions.

04

Map site, well and water constraints

Document known wells, waterways, slopes, drainage, property boundaries, structures, access and planned grading for current setback verification.

05

Route roles and filings

Ask which authorized person, engineer, installer, maintenance provider, health or local authority steps apply and what each supplies.

06

Plan construction closeout

Compare inspection, record drawings, filing evidence, commissioning, owner information and updated maintenance plan.

07

Translate the project into wastewater inputs

List bedrooms or occupancy changes, suite plans, fixtures, appliances, business use and construction sequence without declaring design flow. Provide the same project description to the authorized person and reviewing authorities.

  • Separate existing and future use
  • Include phased renovations
  • Record uncertainty explicitly
08

Map site constraints before options

Place buildings, wells, watercourses, slopes, property lines, access, utilities and known system components on one plan. Identify survey or field evidence still required and keep construction traffic away from protected system areas.

  • Show reserve-area information if documented
  • Mark equipment routes
  • Do not assume setback compliance
09

Build the filing-to-closeout route

Assign assessment, design, health-authority filing, construction, inspection, commissioning and maintenance-record responsibilities for the selected project. Keep approved revisions, material or component changes, photographs and owner instructions in the property system file.

  • Name the authorized role
  • Record every design revision
  • Schedule ongoing maintenance evidence
10

Build the change-project control file

Combine the proposed occupancy and fixture changes, existing filings, verified system map, site and water constraints, qualified assessment or design inputs, authority route and construction sequence. Identify investigation and approval hold points before excavation, traffic or building work affects system areas. During work, record revisions, component information, inspections, commissioning and restoration. Finish with updated property records and maintenance instructions. This file coordinates a project-specific process and must not present an owner’s room count, tank label or old plan as proof of design flow, remaining capacity, setback compliance or approval.

  • Freeze project-use assumptions
  • Map protected system areas
  • Track filing revisions
  • Photograph verified construction
  • Update maintenance records
